**The Burst Bandwidth is the amount of Bandwidth that can be used for a very short period of time when the cameras reindex their key frame. Sometimes these events can happen concurrently and cause a “delay” on your network due to insufficient bandwidth. If you want uninterrupted video and delay free data, its best to design your network to be able to handle the Burst Bandwidth.
