EtherWAN's EX27000 Series switches are designed to meet the demanding requirements of power substation automation systems and railway applications. In energy supply applications, dependable performance and short network reaction times are fundamental conditions for plant operations and sustained output. Built in accordance with EN 50121-4 and IEC 61850-3 standards, these industrial managed 28-port switches provide robust long-term performance for essential networks.

The EX27000 Series is equipped with twenty-four 10/100BASE Fast Ethernet ports, in combination with up to four Gigabit, Fixed Fiber, or SFP Combo port options. EtherWAN's Alpha-Ring self-healing technology ensures a fault recovery time of less than 15ms in instances of port failure.

Management features include port security, IGMP snooping, VLANs, GARP protocols, and LACP. Switch management is via web browser, Telnet, SNMP, RMON, TFTP, and RS-232 console interface.
