How to Choose a Suitable Network Switch, plus EtherWAN's new PoE switch

How to Choose a Suitable Network Switch?

There are bunch of different network peripherals out there for options. How do you use them efficiently to ensure your equipments reach the maximum performance in every operating environment?

Some criterias that determine whether your network switch is able to handle a full workload, such as full-wired speed, guarantee per port, and total power budget can be tested to insure the best performance in the desired operating environment.

See how EtherWAN performs these tests in this article.

EtherWAN's 8-Port Gigabit IEEE802.3at PoE Switch

EtherWAN's EX17908A complies with IEEE802.3 10/100/1000BASE-T and IEEE802.3at Power over Ethernet output up to 30W per port, with the total power budget of 240W. The unit supports non-blocking full wire-speed forwarding, jumbo frame up to 9.6KB, flow control, 8192 MAC addresses, and store-and-forward operation.

Field-proven Reliability

Hardened Ethernet equipment with superior reliability, long MBTF, redundant power support, wide operating temperature range, EDI, EMI, RFI and surge protection.

Full Product Testing

Our hardened products are required to pass stringent real-time data transfer testing at the temperature from -40° to +85°C for up to 72 hours without compromise.
