EtherWAN’s PoE Media Converters allow networks to combine the advantages of fiber optic cable with the convenience of Power over Ethernet (PoE). They support IEEE802.3at PoE/PSE standard, and can transmit both power and data over one RJ45 cable, making deployment of remote devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points much easier. Link fault pass through (LFPT) is also supported, and devices are hardened against extreme temperatures and electromagnetic interference.
