EtherWAN today announced an upgraded version of its EX75900 Series hardened managed PoE switches with the introduction of the new EX75964-0VTH model. Designed for high-power field devices, the EX75964-0VTH provides 24 Gigabit PoE ports, with each port supporting up to 90W PoE under IEEE 802.3bt Type 4.
Up to 90W PoE for Power-Intensive Edge Devices
With up to 90W PoE per port and a total PoE power budget of 720W, the upgraded EX75964-0VTH is well suited for high-performance PTZ cameras, Wi-Fi 6/7 access points, edge computing devices, AI video analytics gateways, and industrial control or monitoring terminals. By delivering power and data over a single Ethernet cable, the switch helps system integrators reduce additional power infrastructure, simplify field cabling, and improve deployment flexibility.
Built for Transportation, Surveillance, and Industrial Networks
Typical 90W PoE application scenarios include intelligent transportation roadside cabinets, urban surveillance networks, industrial automation lines, energy and substation communications, and outdoor wireless coverage. These deployments often involve devices that require higher single-port power, such as PTZ cameras with heaters, wipers, infrared illumination, or high-speed pan/tilt mechanisms, as well as wireless access points and edge computing nodes with higher power input requirements.
High-Bandwidth Uplinks and Hardened Reliability
Beyond high-power PoE delivery, the EX75964-0VTH provides four tri-speed 1G/2.5G/10G SFP+ uplink ports and Layer 3 routing capabilities, enabling the switch to serve as an aggregation or core node in industrial networks. Its hardened design includes a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, fanless operation, shock resistance, and strong immunity to electrical noise, making it suitable for control cabinets, roadside cabinets, substations, and other demanding environments.
