SmartE series' lite-managed technology offers ample Layer 2 management functionality, including IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, IEEE 802.1w RSTP for redundancy, QoS, SNMP v1/v2c/v3 for remote monitoring, and security features such as IEEE 802.1x RADIUS Authentication and LAN access control. Additionally, the SmartE series provides a user-friendly Web GUI, and secure management interfaces via SSL and SSH, to enable lite Layer 2 management functionality without compromising manageability, and security.
The SmartE series features a special physical 'Mode Button' on the device, designed to help users reduce the time of deployment and ease the burden of IP management.
With a wide product portfolio range, there are 9 models available with 5, 8, and 16-port Fast or Gigabit Ethernet ports with SFP fiber port options, to provide flexible selection to fit various applications, such as process automation, factory automation, building automation, renewable energy, and more.
